bon iver, bon iver.

"Comprised of individual visual works for each of the album's ten songs, the Deluxe Edition is the comprehensive vision for the record captured in moving picture. The visual works both complement and enrich the audio on the album, and were in themselves, another year in the making. Featuring work by Dan Huiting, Isaac Gale, David Jensen, JoLynn Garnes, Andre Durand, Ryan Thompson and Justin Vernon, the video work is meant to be consumed as a visual extension of the music, to enhance each listener's experience. While not music videos per se, these visual accompaniments are striking in their distinctive atmosphere, and compelling works in their own right."

zero gravity.

"There are thousands of people that are exploring some of the most beautiful landscapes in the world. This chapter we will take you to Norway, Switzerland and France where people are jumping cliffs as high as 6,000 feet. We hope you can see the world from our eyes."

I think I just had an out of body experience. I'm doing this tomorrow, anyone want to join me?

move, eat, learn.

"3 guys, 44 days, 11 countries, 18 flights, 38 thousand miles, an exploding volcano, 2 cameras and  almost a terabyte of footage... all to turn 3 ambitious linear concepts based movement, learning and food ... into 3 beautiful and hopefully compelling short films...= a trip of a lifetime."

savage beauty.

The Alexander McQueen exhibit at The Met was unlike anything I've ever seen, this video hardly does it justice. The atmosphere throughout the whole experience was incredibly eerie and haunting, and revealed his attitude towards and inspiration for many of his greatest pieces. I almost felt like I was reading his diary. These are some of my favorites, Via The Met Museum Blog.
