I am currently covered in blankets and sipping hot chocolate while trapped in my snow-covered house in New York. I've hijacked my sister's computer and am flipping through photos from the summer, imagining I am lying on a beach in Bermuda. These are a few of my favorites from the week-long trip we took this past summer. Check out more of Danielle's photos on her blog To Infinity and Beyond.

december in paris.
The first weekend in December I took a little trip to Paris with my roommates Lydia and Michelle and our friends Arielle and Ashley. The weather was overcast-- we took our umbrellas and explored the area around Hotel De Ville, searching for my favorite vintage shops and window shopping on quiet streets glowing with holiday lights. We ate pistachio, coconut and blackberry macaroons from Laduree, climbed the steps to the Sacre Coeur in Montmartre, vintage shopped for days, wandered through Rodin's garden and sipped coffee at Les Deux Magots, a cafe frequented by Hemingway and Picasso.

venezia in film.
A couple weeks ago I spent the weekend in Venice with Michelle and Gina. We stayed in the most amazing hostel overlooking the water with vaulted ceilings and marble statues and ornaments adorning the walls. It was absolutely freezing, but we wandered around the little alleyways of the tiny islands day and night, anyway. We took a taxi boat over to the island of Murano to visit a glassblowing factory and watch the professionals make beautiful pieces and snapped shots of anything and everything. Here are a few of Michelle's fabulous disposable shots. More to come!

cloud city.
We took a cable car up to the highest mountain in the Serra de Collserola and explored the amusement park Tibidabo and cathedral Sagrat Cor while experiencing the most fantastic view of my favorite city.
