j'aime paris.

My flight is booked--I am officially visiting Paris this December! In honor of my upcoming trip, I thought I would share some pictures from two summers ago when I studied in France and backpacked throughout Europe. From street after street of vintage shopping to laying by the Seine to picnicking in the Champ de Mars, summer in Paris was perfect. I can't wait to post my next batch of pictures from the City of Light, likely featuring snow angels, scarves, hot chocolate and lots of bundled Parisians. Can't wait!

vista della via.

Today Gina and I took to the streets and found vintage shopping central. We made a stop at my favorite bookstore, Altroquando, before making our way to the end of Vicolo del Governo Vecchio. The shops we found rivaled those on the streets of Paris, with Burberry trenches, vintage YSL and beautiful leather bags. We walked down the isles of the shops touching everything and giggling as we tried on fur coats, cat-eye glasses and everything we could get our hands on.

fontana dell'acqua paola.

My favorite homework spot in Rome sits at the base of the Fontana dell'Acqua Paola at the bottom of the Gianicolo. The fountain is breathtaking and the stone benches around it provide the most beautiful view of the city. The paths in the area are cobblestone and lead to the top of the Gianicolo and down past the Spanish Embassy and Chiesa di San Pietro in Montorio into my favorite area of town--Trastevere.

hello brooklyn.

Still reminiscing. Summertime in the city with a film camera. Coney Island, Berry Street, Bedford Ave. and the Music Hall of Williamsburg.

missing my n-y-city.

Just doing a little reminiscing about the time I spent exploring New York City this past Spring: Waverly Inn, West Village, View from the Hoboken Ferry, Bank Street, Central Park, my cozy apartment, The Guggenheim, Sea Restaurant, and West 4th Street.
